Originally known as Wheel Based Technologies, established 1994, the business has become an industry leader in Southern Africa.  In 2018 Beissbarth SA was registered as a (Pty) Ltd.  WBT continues to operate as a viable trading entity under the umbrella of Beissbarth SA. With the widest range of OEM and IAM approvals, together with highly specialised and knowledgeable staff, Beissbarth SA is well equipped to address the specific requirements of individual clients.

Tony Williams, owner of Beissbarth SA, qualified as a motor mechanic in 1982, and began his career at Toyota/M.A.N South Africa.  With a view to running his own business, Tony branched into the sale and service of workshop quipment.  Following a life-long passion for motor vehicles and motor bikes, and in the enthusiastic pursual of perfection, Tony established a successful business specialising in wheel alignment and workshop design.

Under his leadership, the business has seen exponential growth from a home office to a large warehouse, workshop and showroom, and full staff complement.
